Projects that bring us together
Each achievement reflects the collective strength of Jusqu’Aubourg. Here is a glimpse of the initiatives that have brought our community together, inspired them, and transformed them.
Our Achievements
Create, move, express yourself
Karate for Youth Aged 16 to 21 with Special Needs (ASD)
The karate program proved to be a major success, particularly among young people aged 16 to 21 with special needs. It offered them a unique opportunity for personal and social development. This program has become a cornerstone for inclusion and the empowerment of these young individuals.
Multisport Day Camp with Learning and Growth Opportunities
The multisport day camp has been another great success. This summer program offers a wide range of sports and cultural activities, focusing on developing new skills across multiple disciplines, including music. It has helped and continues to help youth flourish while promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. The camp also gives participants the chance to meet inspiring people—athletes, life coaches, professionals, and artists—who share their passions.
Cultural Outings and Community Events
We have organized several cultural outings and community events, such as open house days and tournaments. These events have strengthened community spirit and given young people the opportunity to discover new horizons and connect with their cultural heritage.
Support for Teenage Girls
One of our main goals is to support young girls, particularly teenagers, by offering tailored programs that help build their self-confidence. We encourage them to participate actively in activities and provide them with positive role models in the fields of sports, art, and culture—with incredible support from Jouer pour Inspirer.
Opening of a Youth Canteen
We opened a canteen at the Chaumont Arena, where we serve meals to young people who need them—or simply request them—contributing to their physical well-being and concentration. This initiative is part of our commitment to promoting balanced nutrition and supporting youth in their academic and athletic pursuits.
Support for Vulnerable Youth
We have implemented initiatives to support young people from underprivileged backgrounds by offering free or subsidized activities. These programs have provided access to valuable resources that many would not otherwise have had the opportunity to experience.
Launch of the Community Hockey Team
Among our greatest successes is the creation of our community hockey team, which brings together between 80 and 120 young players who practice hockey every Sunday. This program not only helps develop athletic skills but also strengthens community ties through sport. For many, it has become a pillar of integration into their new home. We have also created a girls’ team to overcome certain cultural barriers, and this year, we introduced a skating initiation program for parents of young athletes—hoping that skating becomes another opportunity for families to spend quality time together.
Creation of Sports and Educational Programs
From its very first year, Jusqu’au Bourg launched a variety of programs, including introductions to basketball, volleyball, karate, yoga, kickboxing, chess, robotics, coding, LEGO workshops, and more. These activities attracted strong participation and allowed young people to develop both physical and mental skills while strengthening their teamwork spirit.
